Through Dallah Advertising in Doha, Spinifex was asked to conceive the first international television campaign for Qatar’s national fertilizer company, QAFCO. It involved a 9 day film shoot around the world. The campaign was based on a journey of the fertilizer jewels. These jewels are sent from Qatar into the world, by the young, hardworking Qatari boy. The jewels then bring growth and bounty to various countries, with the commercial featuring children enjoying the subsequent prosperity.
A total crew of eighty worked with a cast of fifty in four countries: Kenya, Qatar, Dubai and the Philippines.
The campaign included a 90, 60 and 45 second television commercial to be played on Al Jazeera and CNN.
