December 14, 2007 No CommentsThe ground-breaking ceremony for the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology was a huge event held in Jeddah. The main stage consisted of 3 large musion screens and 2 large LED screens, creating 5 dynamic areas where our content played in various configurations. We did some really cool stuff on with live action integrated into the musion content, creating some mind blowing effects and mock-hologram illusions.
The main screen revealed a 60 metre long tunnel behind the stage where the King and others could walk while looking out on the way a day in the life of the university might look like. This involved a series of rear projected split files which featured real students composited into a 3D version of the university.
